Machine Lead/Operator - Emmeci MC92 Specialist

Job Description:

Rock Valley Packaging is on the lookout for a highly skilled and technically proficient Machine Operator to specialize in the operation and maintenance of our Emmeci MC92 packaging machinery. This role requires expertise in high-speed automated systems and precision equipment to ensure superior packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the Emmeci MC92, a state-of-the-art carton and box erecting machine, to achieve optimal production rates and maintain strict quality control. Execute complex machine setups including calibration, die adjustments and parameter configurations to match product specifications and production requirements. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the Emmeci MC92, including the replacement of wear parts, lubrication and alignment adjustments to minimize downtime and extend machine life. Monitor real-time machine performance metrics, such as speed, pressure and temperature, using integrated control systems and troubleshooting software to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct rigorous quality inspections of produced cartons to ensure compliance with dimensional accuracy, seal integrity and overall presentation standards. Implement and adhere to established safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain detailed production logs, including machine settings, maintenance records and quality control data to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with high-speed automated packaging machinery, specifically with Emmeci MC92 or similar systems, is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of machine operations, including pneumatic systems, servo motors and electronic control panels. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and machine diagnostics. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software-related issues to ensure minimal production disruptions. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred to support a diverse workforce and customer base Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on precision and adherence to quality standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
