ACME Machinist:
Set up & run conventional Multispindle ACME Gridley Screw Machines. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the required machining operations. Measure and inspect parts using quality gauges to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Assist the team with troubleshooting and problem-solving that may arise during the machining process. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Gain Knowledge from an in-house company training program.
Requirements:
Prior familiarity with machining and gauging is preferred, but not required. Must be mechanically inclined. Must perform well under low supervision. Must Have Reliable Transportation. Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand on your feet for the entire shift without extra breaks. Must be able to lift a max of 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day daily.
Other:
1st shift hours are 6:00 am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is available when conditions exist. Must be able to commute to Machesney Park, IL Wear provided Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Drug-free work environment.
