Please note that this job posting is for a temporary assignment (up to 6months) . Details of the temporary assignment will be provided in the interview process. Expected assignment End date 10/30/2026 The Inbound Packaging coordinator is responsible for ensuring that customer orders and replenishment loads are fulfilled, prepared for shipment, and delivered to the appropriate destination in a safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner. This day-based position is also responsible for customer requirements for high-quality, damage-free, on-time, correctly loaded, and accurate (Bill of Lading) deliveries. This Associate will also own the Tosh and Recycling programs for the Site. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of personal computers. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner. Ability and willingness to develop and manage self, demonstrate self-directed workgroup leadership and contribute to efficiency, quality, and cost optimization with minimal supervision and a positive attitude. Good basic math, reading and writing skills. Good mechanical aptitude. Good housekeeping skills and knowledge of GMP's. Good problem solving skills. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts under stressful conditions such as heat, cold, high and/or confined spaces and have full mobility with ability to climb ladders and stairs. What will be your key responsibilities? Load trailers according to loading specifications and in a manner which delivers product on time (arrives when originally expected) and complete (accurate by item and damage free) as measured by our customers and other receiving destinations. Receive, unload, inspect and correctly warehouse all in-bound shipments (finished goods and materials) using safe procedures while maintaining the quality of all products and using accurate inventory management procedures. Fill out Certificate of Disposal paperwork for all Tosh loads, complete BOLs for TOSH and CRI Loads Coordinate with Northstar to schedule pickups of any Tosh, recycling and CRI loads Responsible for management of Tosh box, liner and special slip sheet inventory levels. Coordinate with site personal on any loads that go Waste to Energy such as Tallow, Digest, Meat, Trash roll offs, etc. Conduct trailer inspections prior to loading trailers for product shipment and after unloading inbound trailers. Operate forklift equipment to move product from the palletizer and within the warehouse to trailers and various other warehouse locations and operate in a manner maintaining required sanitation levels. Repair and recoup damaged goods as accidentally created during product movement and as required. Follow FIFO principles for finished products. Report or take appropriate action when quality checks do not meet set specifications. Improve operations through individual and group problem solving. Provide leadership in solving problems that disrupts the daily production goals. Maintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity. Must know the product "Hold" criteria of all applicable areas.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in site action circles and focus groups as appropriate. Coordinate with Production Associates on any inbound ingredients/packaging that may be needed upon arrival. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
