About the Role Within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD), this role supports global pharmaceutical and biotech partners in delivering therapies to patients safely and efficiently. Guided by the principle "There is a Patient Waiting," the Packaging/Labeling Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring clinical supplies are accurately packaged, labeled, and handled in compliance with regulatory standards. Labels, assembles and packages pharmaceutical products. Performs manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products. Accurately counts and prepares packaging components to ensure accurate accountabilities prior to and at the completion of a job order. Ensures quality and productivity requirements are met. Cleans packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs). Applies Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) in all areas of responsibility, including following regulations and activities in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Execute packaging and labeling activities in accordance with approved procedures and job specifications. Maintain accurate counts and reconciliation of all packaging components. Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations. Support operational efficiency while maintaining high quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic computer proficiency. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to learn new tasks with guidance and work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and understand batch documentation to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies. Capability to meet physical job requirements, including standing, lifting, and bending. Must meet vision requirements (e.g., color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment). Willingness to work in cold environments (-8°C and -20°C). Availability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed. Required to obtain and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification, including use of respirators and safety gear. Work Environment & Schedule Fully onsite position based in Mount Prospect, Illinois. First shift schedule (Monday-Thursday). Standard 40-hour workweek. What We Offer:
