$20.00/hourShift:
Day Join our dynamic food production team as a Blending Operator in Orangeville, IL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing of quality food products, with hands-on involvement in blending, batching, and supporting production operations.Blending Operator Responsibilities:
- Kit and stage batches, weigh ingredients, and dump/blend batches according to SOPs
- Operate manual pallet jacks and obtain forklift certification if applicable
- Conduct sanitation activities, including Clean in Place (CIP), and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
- Complete and verify all required documentation daily
- Participate in equipment setup and assembly, and assist with chemical handling and labeling to packaging standards
- Cross-train across work centers for operational flexibility
- Work in wet, dusty, and elevated environments, and handle allergens responsibly
- Adhere to all safety policies, report unsafe conditions or injuries immediately, and follow all mandated safety training
- Support sanitation, production support, and other duties as needed Requirements for
Blending Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods
- Good math, problem-solving, and deductive reasoning skills
- Experience in food production is preferred but not mandatory
- Capable of data entry and reading SOPs
