Job Description
Hours:
7:00am-3:00pm Were seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals to join a manufacturing team in Quincy, IL. Production Workers may be assigned to various departments, including CNC, Welding, Setup, Painting, Machine Operation, Robotic Torch Operation, Material Handling, and Forklift Operations. Team members are responsible for producing quality products, maintaining production standards, performing inspections, operating equipment, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment. Dont miss this potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Machine/Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Robotic Torch Operator- Cut and trim wheel components and rim bands according to blueprints and production routers
- Load and position workpieces into fixtures and production equipment
- Set up tooling and perform routine machine adjustments
- Conduct quality inspections and verify specifications
- Complete daily housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks CNC Machine Operator
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture steel components
- Read blueprints and work instructions
- Perform first-piece inspections and quality checks
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tools
- Complete SPC charting and production documentation
- Monitor equipment and perform routine maintenance Setup Technician
- Set up production equipment, machines, tooling, fixtures, and workstations according to production schedules and specifications
- Perform tooling changes, machine changeovers, and equipment adjustments to prepare machines for production runs
- Verify machine settings, dimensions, and production requirements prior to startup
- Read and interpret blueprints, routers, work orders, and production documentation
- Utilize calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications
