Job Description

Overview Our Sawmill is looking for energetic and reliable people to join our pallet lumber resaw crew. The Laborer position is an entry level job, but employees that show initiative and reliability will find room in our company for advancement. In this fast-paced environment, you will support the efficient operation of resaw equipment, assist with material handling and stacking, and assist in quality control of lumber products. Whether you're experienced in woodworking and sawmill operation or eager to learn, this role provides a platform for growth and skill development for anyone who puts forth the effort. Duties Operate small-scale sawmill machinery. Feed lumber products into a resaw system to merchandise them into smaller units. Grading/stacking pallet cut stock lumber. Assist in loading, unloading, and moving raw materials and finished products using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Assist in routine maintenance on machinery and tools to keep equipment running smoothly and safely. Experience No previous sawmill experience is required. All training will be provided by knowledgeable mill staff and management. Ability to operate equipment safely and work with a team. Strong work ethic with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
