Our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hubtex Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Hubtex material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and position heavy materials within our production facility. 1st shift Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm (up to 3:30pm) Duties Operate Hubtex specialized forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move heavy loads throughout the facility Bring material to stock pullers for orders by performing the following duties Operate the hubtex within the guidelines and safety rules set by the company. Fill out operators daily check list sign and date. Walk down isles before each shift making sure there are not pans sticking out or banding, or blocks on the floor or in the isles. Report all damage or problems immediately to your supervisor. Take key out of truck when you are more than 25 feet away from your machine or when you leave. Report any bent racks. Replace any bent pans. Skills Proven experience operating Hubtex equipment or similar industrial forklifts Excellent shop math skills combined with a solid understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments Experience working within manufacturing facilities or factory settings with a focus on material handling Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
