Machine Operator General

$16.00 per hour

1st, 2nd

Hours:

5:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri); 3:30pm-2:00am (Mon-Thurs) QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with machine set up on multiple machines and machine operation.
• Machine set up and operation.
• Loading and Pulling product off of machines and loading them onto pallets.
• Quality control of parts.
• Load flat cardboard and labels into machines for processing.
• Counting the number of parts required per box.
• Packaging parts depending on customer requirements.

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Ability to use hands and arms for repetitive motion.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for an 8-hour day.
• Lift boxes up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to grab and reach for products.
