About the
Role:
Seeking a detail-oriented Endoscopy / GI Technician. This position requires a direct assist role assisting providers with EGDs and colonoscopies.

Schaumburg, IL Shift:
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM shift.
Pay:
$20 - 30.50/hr
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of endoscopic suite / specific GI tech experience BLS certification
Preferred:
Experience from hospital endoscopic labs
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in a related field is a plus).
Technical Skills:
Direct assist experience with EGDs and colonoscopies.
Knowledge:
Understanding of endoscopic suite workflows, procedure setups, and assisting providers during GI procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance to healthcare providers during EGD and colonoscopy procedures. Complete efficient setup for all endoscopic procedures (approximately 10 minutes per setup). Manage a daily patient volume ranging from 8-10 up to 15 patients per day. Focus strictly on direct procedure assistance to maintain clinical flow. Maintain a clean, prepared, and safe clinical environment for GI procedure patients. Ensure all required procedural supplies and equipment are readily available prior to each patient. Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth, high-quality patient care delivery throughout the shift.
