Machine Operator - Manufacturing & Production Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating production equipment, and contributing to a quality-focused manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial machinery, following work instructions, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe work area. We are willing to train motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to dependable attendance and long-term career growth. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce quality parts and assemblies. Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures. Perform machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency. Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and visual inspection methods. Read and interpret production documents, blueprints, or work orders as required. Load and unload raw materials and finished products. Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with other manufacturing and production duties as needed. Lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs. Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment and processes. Ability to read measuring tools, gauges, and basic production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Preferred Skills Experience operating CNC equipment, fabrication machinery, packaging equipment, or automated production systems. Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices. Experience with quality inspections and production reporting. Ability to identify and resolve minor equipment issues. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
