Machine Operators/Packagers Staff On Site South Beloit, IL Job Details Full-time $16.00 - $17.50 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Referral program Qualifications Packing Machine operation Basic math High school diploma or GED Math Full Job Description Staff on Site currently seeking 2nd shift packagers and 2nd, & 3rd shift machine operators for temp to hire positions in South Beloit, IL. Pack items according to company standards and guidelines, Ensure that all items are packed securely to prevent damage during transportation, Label packages accurately, Inspect packages for any defects or discrepancies before sealing them. Assist in the setup and preparation of machinery before production runs, monitor machinery during operation to ensure it functions properly, make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production goals, Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment High school diploma or equivalent. Veterans are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in food services preferred but not required. Previous experience in packing or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well in a team environment. Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory. Physical ability to perform job functions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Physical demands:

Standing:

Prolonged periods of standing on production floor (up to 8-10 hours per shift).

Walking:

Frequent walking around production and packaging areas.

Lifting:

Occasionally lift and move products or materials up to 25-50 lbs.

Bending/Stooping:

Regular bending to inspect lower-level machinery or products.

Reaching:

Frequent reaching over and around equipment or conveyors.

Climbing:

Occasionally climb steps or ladders to access equipment or inspection points.

Repetitive Motions:

Repetitive hand and arm movements when conducting tests or entering data. Strong reading/math skills. Ability to function in a structured environment. Good work ethic, flexibility as overtime is sometime required 2nd shift M-T 2:25P -12:55A. $16.75/hr. 3rd shift M-F 11p - 7a $17.50/hr
