Job Title:
Palletizer Operator Job Description The Palletizer Operator is responsible for supporting plant production needs for daily operation. This role involves overseeing machinery and various machine work processes to produce quality aerosol cans safely. 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm) / $20/hour Responsibilities Work safely at all times and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Report any unsafe conditions to the shift supervisor. Recognize can defects and understand the importance of good quality. Follow all applicable quality checks and standard operating procedures promptly. Clear any jams out of palletizer equipment, conveyor systems, wrappers, or banders to ensure the line is not backed up for an excessive amount of time. Properly fill out all required paperwork. Operate basic line controls. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting. Excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills. Basic math and measurement skills. Basic understanding of industrial equipment. Ability to solve practical problems. Basic mechanical abilities. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required. Understanding of quality, PPE requirements, safety, and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor and palletizing experience. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Vernon Hills, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
