Your Role in Synergy's Success The Clean room Operator I is responsible for cleaning the equipment used for the flavors in the manufacturing process (liquids, emulsions, and extracts) per directions of the 8 steps of sanitation. This role is to work closely with the batch compounders and packing operators to clean using food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy priorities. This role is responsible for cleaning tanks vessels, utensils, and production equipment. Must accurately follow the sanitation steps, follow safety procedures, read, and identify hazard communication labels. The role is responsible for cleaning all equipment preventing cross contamination.
How You Will Contribute Roles and Responsibilities:
Clean batch vessels, utensils, and equipment and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in cleaning the equipment Learn and understand proper disposal of excess liquid waste Promptly observe and clearly communicate food or other product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management. Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's safety policies. Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
HS Diploma/GED Preferred Must have a general knowledge of workplace safety and quality processes including GMP's & Allergens Must follow safety requirements and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary Attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematics required Problem solve and communicate when something is wrong and to recognize/report the problem When required for the position, the employee must be able to wear a respirator with Doctor's approval and successfully pass the respiratory and pulmonary function testing Ability to: Manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary Learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures Learn and consistently complete required documentation and record-keeping requirements Work overtime when necessary
Starting Salary :
