Maintenance Supervisor Position Purpose/Summary:
The Setup Technician is responsible for the maintenance of machinery and equipment, to include troubleshooting machinery errors. Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. All duties as assigned and the following specific activities. Add, remove and adjust packaging machinery, such as case erector, bottle sorter, date code machinery, and cappers, to run various sizes of product and liquid fill packaging production cells. Troubleshoot machine and auxiliary equipment problems, during setup/change-over, and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime Organizing change parts and maintaining areas as directed by management to facilitate rapid changeover protocols. Promote safety by abiding by all related policies and procedures and set a good example for others Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Communicate effectively and professionally with employees, at all levels of the organization, and customers. Demonstrates critical thinking when troubleshooting machinery. Displays workplace safety awareness by adhering to company safety policies/procedures.

Technical Degree or equivalent educational/military experience
Experience :
1 - 3 yrs. prior Setup/Change-Over Technician experience Liquid filling Machine experience strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude
Technology/Software:
Basic computer skills including
Microsoft Word & Excel Communication:
Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
Physical Capabilities Strength:
Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs.
Movement:
Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight hour shift. Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling
Hearing:
Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
Vision:
Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly
