This is a hands-on position focused primarily on operating equipment to produce and modify parts according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. The successful candidate should be comfortable learning and assisting in different areas as production needs require.
Job Duties:
Operate equipment safely and accurately in multiple areas of the manufacturing floor as needed, including but not limited to: Manual lathe/mill/drill Saw operation Tube cutting Plasma cutting Product testing Material handling General fabrication and shop support Learn to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, dimensions, and specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing practices. Be willing to learn and perform additional manufacturing tasks as business needs change. Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production goals.
Job Requirements:
Is willing and eager to learn. Has an interest in working with machines, tools, and mechanical equipment. Has good mechanical aptitude and enjoys hands-on work. Can follow written and verbal instructions. Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work. Is dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team. Can safely lift and move materials as required for the position. Prior experience with manual lathes, mills, saws, fabrication equipment, or similar machinery is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. The employee will spend the majority of the workday on the shop floor and should be comfortable working around machinery, metal components, cutting equipment, and other manufacturing operations. The employee will be expected to wear safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel toe boots. This a full-time position Monday through Friday 6 am
  • 4:30 pm .
Salary Range :
$17-19 hr . Benefits include Prorated Vacation, IRA with company matching, and health insurance for full-time employees.
