Job Description

Job purpose This position will participate in warehouse/shipping operations and activities by maintaining a level of cleanliness or order for safety purposes. Duties and responsibilities Maintains a clean tote sorting area for safety, cleanliness and order. Empties return trucks of pallets of empty totes and racks in an orderly and timely manner. Cleans totes using the tote cleaning machine and sorts by size and / or part #. Stacks like pallets of totes orderly and safely in their designated area. Maintains the production floor's needs for packaging, and removes full packaging of finished goods for stocking in the warehouse Works with the warehouse associates to maintain products in proper locations Has mastered use of the scanning system to perform and record the warehouse duties described above, including production and location records Demonstrates the ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dock plates and tow motor Maintains cooperative and effective working relationships with others throughout the plant Qualifications Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack, tow motor, forklift. Working conditions Typical manufacturing environment Physical requirements Standing, walking, pulling, kneeling, reaching, maneuvering up to 25lbs.
