Job Description
Blending Technician Lucas Oil Products Inc is seeking a Blending Technician to operate mixing and blending equipment to produce high‑performance lubricants and additives. You will measure and load raw materials, follow precise batch formulas, and complete in‑process quality checks to ensure consistent, reliable products. This hands‑on role works in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, following strict safety and environmental standards while collaborating with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement and on‑time delivery. Set up, operate, and monitor blending and mixing equipment for lubricants and additives Measure, weigh, and load raw materials per batch formulas and production orders Perform in‑process quality checks and record batch data accurately Follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards in blending areas Calibrate basic equipment and report maintenance or equipment issues Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve blend variances Label, sample, and transfer finished product to storage or packaging Assist with inventory counts and proper storage of raw materials and chemicals Batch mixing and blending operations Reading and following batch tickets and SOPs Basic mechanical aptitude Chemical handling and safety (PPE, SDS) Quality control sampling and testing support Use of scales, pumps, and meters Forklift or material handling equipment operation Inventory and lot tracking Basic math and measurements Data and production record entry Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Forklift certification (preferred) OSHA safety training (preferred) Hazardous materials handling or HAZCOM training (preferred)
