Job Summary The Job Setter operates and maintains manufacturing equipment, including printing, inspection, soldering, coating, and laser machines, and troubleshoots issues using blueprints and electronic schematics. Preferably has stand up forklift experience, such as reach trucks, dock stockers, and order pickers. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Safely set-up machines for proper speeds, feeds and depth of cut. Setup SMT machines, including but not limited to Screen Print, SPI, AOI, Reflow Oven, Wave Solder, Hand Solder, PVA coating, and Laser Etch machines. Set-up and changeover tooling of complex nature. Adjust machine programs to computer programming logic including placement machines and inspection equipment associated with SMT manufacturing. Perform minor machine repair, as needed to keep lines running and work with engineers to solve root cause of problems or interruptions. Perform general Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) work. Acquire Material Handler license through required test and training. Acquire Crane Operator License through required testing and training. Read and understand blueprints, specification process sheets, schedules and related materials. Skills and Minimum Experience Required High school diploma/GED Use applicable measuring instruments and special gauges. Accurately maintain necessary records.
