Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have: Experience operating and programming CNC 2D laser cutting equipment Experience with Prima Power equipment or similar laser systems preferred Experience with nesting software and DXF file programming Strong blueprint reading and print interpretation skills Knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing tolerances Experience in a precision metal fabrication or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Willingness to work overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Forklift certification or willingness to become certified Experience using ERP or manufacturing software Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Pull and position steel sheets Remove finished parts from sheet skeletons Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift Americans with Disabilities Specifications The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
