GED Full Job Description Extruder Operator Location:

Evansville, IN, 47712 Summary The role of the Extruder Operator is to produce high-quality compounded feed stock safely and efficiently for customers. Essential Functions Effectively communicate with management, other operators and lab technicians Follow all safety policies and procedures closely, actively look for potentially hazardous conditions and report such in a timely manner Execute all phases of extruder operation Perform preventative maintenance duties on extruders Accurately and neatly complete required paperwork Document daily activities, running conditions, etc. Display ability to minimize excessive scrap and downtime Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Required Education & Experience High school graduate or equivalent Completion of on-the-job training with the ability to follow instructions Physical Requirements Lift up to 80 lbs. at waist level, up to 80 lbs. at floor level, and up to 40 lbs. at elevated level on a rare basis when moving products Display average coordination with both hands on a continuous basis while performing job tasks Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products Stoop, kneel or squat on an occasional basis when handling products Reach forward and to the side on an occasional basis when handling products Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis during the course of each shift Climb steps on an occasional basis Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per shift Ability to be on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift Climb steps/ladders on an occasional basis Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k/401k Match Life Insurance
