Job Description

Position Overview The Enamel Inspection Operator is responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring enamel wire products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality and safety standards, and production requirements. This role maintains accurate documentation, supports product traceability, and promotes an efficient manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Obtain reel from staging area. Scan bar codes. Measure wire sample to verify accuracy and/or take measurements of completed wire to ensure order accuracy. Complete testing based on product requirements. Input information into computer. Maintain accurate labels on product. Roll reel to rewind or to direct ship area. Place orders on desk for direct ship. Palletize reels by rolling onto pallets or by using hoist Read and understand manufacturing instructions. Use & read micrometers to measure wire. Complete paperwork, record and enter data. Communicate with supervisors & associates. Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of area. Use of tools including (but not limited to) wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer. Other duties as assigned Education Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum Experience Required Entry level License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required n/a Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions Ability to use and reads micrometers to measure wire Ability to complete paperwork, record and enter data in computer Ability to follow plant work rules Computer Equipment and Software Requirements Inputs information into computer
