Job Description

Apply Description QuikCut is looking for detail-oriented Saw Operators to join our growing fabrication team. If you have experience operating saws in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment and take pride in precision work, we'd like to hear from you. As a Metal Saw Operator, you'll cut raw metal materials to exact specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and production requirements are met. You'll play an important role in keeping our manufacturing process running efficiently and delivering accurate, high-quality components to the next stage of production. What You'll Do Operate industrial saws, band saws, circular saws, and other metal-cutting equipment to cut materials to specified dimensions. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine cutting requirements. Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools. Verify material type, dimensions, and quantities before cutting. Inspect incoming materials for defects or damage and report quality concerns. Inspect completed cuts to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality specifications. Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and equipment inspections. Requirements Experience operating industrial saws, band saws, circular saws, or other industrial cutting equipment. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure, blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring and cutting materials. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, move, and position heavy metal materials. Why Choose QuikCut? 2nd
Shift:
3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday through Thursday with +$3/hour shift premium
Weekend Shift:
