Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining various CNC machinery to produce precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all parts meet strict specifications and safety standards. First, second, and third shifts are available.
POSITION SUMMARY
Machine Operations
  • Verify quality dimensions, load/unload production lines, use measurement tools, 100% manual inspection of parts, and change/adjust production tooling, completion of production documentation & proper use of JD Edwards. Additional Duties
  • Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants, and 5S cleaning responsibilities.
Requires the operation of multiple machines at one time. Ensures compliance with safety rules, quality guidelines, and production efficiency standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify quality dimensions of parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Load and unload production lines with required materials and products. Utilize measurement tools to check part dimensions and ensure accuracy. Perform 100% visual inspection of parts for defects, quality assurance, and standards adherence. Change and adjust production tooling as necessary to maintain smooth production flow. Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, ensuring proper record-keeping. Effectively use JD Edwards software for documentation and inventory management. Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Remove and dispose of chips, shavings, and other debris generated during production. Replenish fluids and lubricants as required to maintain machine operation. Maintain 5S cleanliness standards in the work area, ensuring organization and safety. Operate multiple machines simultaneously, ensuring efficient and safe production processes. Comply with safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Ensure all work meets quality guidelines and production efficiency standards. Inspect & repair parts in sort area as required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred. Ensure safety, quality and efficiency standards are met Proficiency in the use of micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude & mathematical skills Ability to read and follow written work instructions
