Essential Functions:
- Operate mobile equipment.
- Work in a team environment.
- Ability to train and mentor teammates on basic line operations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Operate the automated plating equipment.
- Set up and run correct recipes for each operation.
- Start up and shut down of the fin 1 line, fin 2 line.
- Data entry of product information utilizing Google Sheets.
- Complete and record required data for the process utilizing Google Sheets.
- Perform quality sampling and testing requirements on the lines.
- Setup and standardize plating thickness testers.
- Identify and process non conforming product.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems on the plating lines and seek resolution.
- Monitor chemical levels in tanks.
- Monitor and adjust tank temperatures as needed.
- Drain, clean and maintain plating tanks and equipment.
- Monitor barrels for wear and tear and have them repaired.
- Perform inspection for mix product.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Verify product in correct drum when loading
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to use a variety of plating lab equipment.
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Identify and understand the chemicals used in the waste water and plating areas.
- Data entry and basic computer skills.
Education:
HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Stand-up Forklift experience a plus.
