Job Description

Position Overview:
Pro Resources is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a company located in Grabill, IN. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality cabinet components while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00
PM Pay:
$ 20.00
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate production machinery such as CNC routers, panel saws, edge banders, dowel machines, and other shop equipment 2. Read and interpret job orders, cut lists, and production specifications 3. Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting 4. Conduct routine tool checks and changes to maintain quality standards 5. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements 6. Maintain a clean and organized work area 7. Follow all safety procedures and company policies 8. Communicate machine issues or production delays to leadership promptly 9. Assist with workflow efficiency and continuous improvement efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or woodworking environment preferred 2. Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic shop math 3. Strong attention to detail and quality control 4. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 6. Dependable and team-oriented
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to stand for extended periods 2. Ability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs 3. Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/shop environment with exposure to wood dust and machinery noise. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE). #FortWayne
