SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be able to communicate with excellent written and verbal skill, basic math skill, and able to multitask in a fast paced work environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
:
  • Meet with Floor Manager/Line Captains to discuss job schedules, rates, quality checks, line preparation and personnel requirements.
  • Set lines and prepare for assembly and packing of customer orders by bringing all required materials (metal components, customer supplied items and packaging) to the line.
  • Instruct line personnel of packing requirements, pieces per hour, daily requirements as well as perform quality checks.
  • Oversee line personnel and check consistently on progress, discrepancies, and inventory fulfillment.
  • Oversee the pack out for accuracy and consistency.
  • Spot checks inventory at various stages, documents discrepancies and advises supervisors.
  • Properly identifies finished goods with load tags indicating customer, part number, description and quantity.
  • Upon completion of a job, delegates and is responsible for the break down of the line, obtains inventory on all left over items, and submits disposition sheet to supervisor.
  • Moves left over items to disposition staging area.
  • Distribute, collects, and files work orders according to
ISO 9001
standards.
  • Coordinates the setup of the next job as the close out inventory is completed.
  • Keep Hour by Hour charts up to date.
  • Balance assembly line.
  • Setup assembly line for single piece flow and maintain as the job runs.
  • Previous experience working with assembly and packing is preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to legally work in the US
  • Basic PC skills
  • Must possess leadership qualities, and an ability to promote and encourage positive attitude and work environment.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to communicate effectively using various forms of communication.
  • Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize work to be performed in order to meet deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work required for this position is to be performed on-site in an environment which can be hot and noisy.
