Key Responsibilities Operate, set up, and monitor all Turning Bay equipment, including the Rattunde, Turner, Polisher, Hex Bundler, Galdabini Bump Straightener, NDT equipment, demag, and transfer car.
Load and unload trucks accurately and ensure material is routed to the correct location.
Enter production data into HTIS hourly and maintain accurate production records and tallies.
Perform quality inspections, gauge verification, testing equipment verification, and 100% ZF inspections.
Identify and process non-conforming material using MQ1 procedures.
Follow customer-specific requirements, quality policies, SOPs, and work instructions.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist Maintenance and Engineering as needed.
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures.
Work independently on trained equipment and develop the ability to set up all Turning Bay equipment, including creating new Rattunde programs.
Achieve and maintain Level 1 NDT Operator certification or higher. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
Three or more years of manufacturing experience preferred, or equivalent experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
