Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description Operate processing equipment to produce quality material safely and efficiently. Focus on machine operation, material handling, and quality control. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production machines Follow Run Instructions (setup, operation, cleanup) Perform basic quality checks and sample testing Track production data, weights, and logs Load/unload materials (forklift/pallet jack) Maintain a clean, safe work area Troubleshoot basic issues and report problems Support team training and production needs Requirements Manufacturing or machine experience preferred Basic math and troubleshooting skills Forklift experience (or willingness to certify) Mechanical aptitude Ability to stand full shift & lift up to 65 lbs (occasionally) Comfortable with noise, dust, and PPE Reliable attendance and attention to detail Why Work Here Growing company with advancement opportunities, strong benefits, and a safety-focused culture. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
