POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for system data entry of all raw materials from the warehouse staging to the shop order being produced on each line.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
System operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, transacting and coordinating with warehouse, all DLx electronic transaction data records which identify materials being accumulated for processing in / out of jobs for each line. System operator will perform BPCS only data entry of all other raw materials consumed by line not electronically transacted in DLx. System operator will check machine schedules on all lines for all jobs at the beginning of shift and prepare / maintain necessary documentation. Randomly check raw materials on the line are the correct materials and running on current job. Provide necessary DLx identification to QA for returning substandard materials found during production process. At changeover, process using DLx /BPCS all data records for materials consumed by job and count and return unused materials applying LPN's if applicable. Record job item number and Shop order number for each job ran and record on the back of the liquid batch card. Transfer in system(s) any raw materials from one line to another, when necessary. Resolve data entry / transaction errors for all raw material processed by reviewing shop order (SFC300) at conclusion of each job. Complete 2 hour checks on Finished Goods receipt and reporting discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor before sending out Discrepancy Form to applicable group. Complete random daily cycle counts of line / storage locations to support warehouse inventory accuracy. Perform all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Include minimum qualifications for formal training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or working experience. Identify the level of knowledge; skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required to perform the essential job responsibilities and duties competently.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Capable of performing simple math and making measurement conversions. Have good handwriting and clerical skills. Familiar with shipping, receiving tracking of raw materials & clerical support including data entry functions for inventory control. Ability to multi-task, and close attention to detail. Proficient Computer skills, using Excel and ability to efficiently perform data entry functions accurately.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1-3 years experience in Warehouse Shipping & Receiving performing data entry and required documentation support.
