Job Title:
Packaging Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for labeling and cross-checking finished goods tissue, receiving and documenting receipt of processed contract tissue, maintaining inventory control for the finished goods storage area, releasing finished goods tissue into inventory, stocking, packing, and labeling supplies. This critical role involves ensuring the quality of our products and contributing to our mission of delivering lifesaving and health-restoring allografts to patients around the globe. Please note, this role involves repetitive tasks and may involve both standing and sitting, depending on your preference. Responsibilities Accurately label and package finished goods. Utilize SAP and RF units. Document receipt of processed tissue. Unpack finished goods inventory. Receive, inspect, and stock packaging and labeling supplies. Perform daily recording of Key Performance Indicators. Perform quarterly dose audit verification for all product types. Essential Skills Attention to detail. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures. Communication skills to identify and report nonconforming materials/conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (proof required). Minimum 1-year of production, warehouse, or assembly experience. Must be able to read, write, and understand English (SOPs are English only). 2-years of SAP experience (preferred). 2-years of manufacturing, production, tissue banking, medical device, or related experience (preferred). Experience working in a role with repetitive motions and processes (ideal). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Databases. Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care. Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Why Work Here?Our mission is simple:

Work Environment Our work environment is a clean, temperature-controlled facility where you will be working with human tissues. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with rare rotating weekends as needed. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided for handling dry ice and frozen tissue. You must be comfortable working with human tissues, and occasionally entering or working in the freezer, though this is rare. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plainfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
