Machines a wide variety of parts that make up the various products we offer in the marketplace.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities:
Has the authority, responsibility and accountability to: Operate machines and power equipment according to specific instructions for those machines power equipment. Manually set up each machine or pull up the computer program in the case of equipment for parts production. Run material through the machines checking for accuracy and quality. Perform timely and regular calibrations and perform preventive maintenance on machines you are responsible for. Ensure that the correct materials are being used for each product component. Identify and use correct tooling to perform each operation. Help ensure that 5S for the area are met. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Support the Quality Policy and Safety Policy. Support the Vision and Guiding Principles of Kimball International and the facility Priorities of Focus and management policies. Skills to

Interpersonal Skills Ability to learn and adapt to new situations quickly. Able to interact with diverse groups of people. Must have a positive attitude. Highly motivated and able to work independently. Technical Skills Able to effectively use problem solving skills. High level of parts knowledge related to area of responsibility. Understand the effects of the material used on surfaces to be finished. Able to transport and prepare a wide variety of parts for other operations. Ability to learn and adapt to new parts and products. Must be detail oriented
