  • 1st Shift (6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM) PEI-Genesis is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team on 1st shift.
This position involves operating, setting up, and monitoring automated loading equipment used in the assembly of electronic connectors and components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing seated work while remaining actively engaged in machine setup, troubleshooting, quality inspections, and monitoring production to ensure products meet quality and production standards. $1000 SIGN
ON BONUS ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Operation & Setup
  • Ability to safely set up, operate, monitor, and adjust loading machinery to meet production requirements. Understanding of machine functions, tooling, and equipment adjustments; Troubleshooting
  • Ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues such as machine jams, misfeeds, quality issues, and equipment malfunctions; Able to implement corrective actions. Quality Inspection
  • Ability to perform first-piece inspections and utilize measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications. Work Order & Specification Interpretation
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and special instructions. Precision Measurement
  • Proficient in using computerized vision systems, go/no-go gauges, depth indicators, arbor presses, and other inspection equipment. Tooling Knowledge
  • Ability to select, install, maintain, and adjust tooling required for machine operation. Production Planning & Execution
  • Ability to meet production schedules, cycle time requirements, and customer fulfillment needs. Understanding of FIFO, Kanban, and efficient workflow. Safety & Housekeeping
  • Knowledge of safe work practices, FOD prevention, and maintaining an organized work area.
Accountable and Adaptable Excellent Time Management & Communication Skills Teamwork
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance). Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day. Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours. Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool. Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.
