Job Description

Our client is currently seeking Machine Operators in De Soto, Kansas , to support production operations. This position is responsible for operating plastic injection-molding machines, handling finished parts, completing basic assembly tasks, and following all quality and safety procedures. Ideal candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on production setting.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor one or more plastic injection-molding machines according to standard operating procedures Safely remove parts from material handling equipment such as chutes, conveyors, or automated systems Perform secondary operations, including hot stamping, assembly, trimming, stacking, and related production tasks Complete required rework processes, which may include trimming, flaming, and cleaning molded parts Attach accessories or components to finished products as part of the assembly process Stack completed items and use dollies to transport materials safely throughout the work area Operate auxiliary equipment such as decorating machines, conveyors, stackers, and automated production systems Complete production paperwork accurately and on time Track and report scrap parts produced during the shift
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred Previous experience as a production operator in molded plastics, manufacturing, warehouse, or another fast-paced production environment is preferred Ability to work well in a team-based setting Must be able to learn and follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality standards Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment Must be able to handle parts and components for assembly or decoration for more than 50% of the shift Must be able to reach above shoulder level to access products, supplies, or materials up to 40% of the time Must be able to lift parts, supplies, or materials weighing up to 30 lbs. from machines, carts, conveyors, or nearby work areas Must be able to move materials weighing up to 260 lbs. with the assistance of proper equipment
Pay Rate:
$17.00 to $17.25 per hour Multiple shifts available: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
