Job Description

Job Description We are looking for MVH Operator to join our team. This experienced machinist works in conjunction with other members in the main valve housing department to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met with little downtime through machining parts needed in order to meet customers' needs and demands. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge. A detailed orientated, self-motivated, problem solver that utilizes a strong work ethic. Qualifications Solid knowledge of cold heading/forming or machining with strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to sustain a steady work pace throughout a 12-hour shift Strong basic math skills, including metric and English measurement conversions Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency Demonstrated commitment to personal integrity and product/process integrity Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Advanced knowledge of machine repair Ability to read and write relay/ladder logic Proficiency using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, dial calipers, height gages, depth gages, dial indicators, and shop gages Ability to maintain engineering and manufacturing tolerances and finishes Strong in-process inspection skills Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled , with exposure to varying temperatures
Shift:
Night Shift Schedule 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule)
Day Shift:
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
