Machine Operator Job Description Join our dynamic Service Bureau department, where you'll contribute to printing labels for grocery stores. You'll primarily work with shelf strips, posters, and price tags, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate lamination machines, setting up and performing changeovers for label and lamination machines. Cross-train to run different machines within the department. Perform various production duties as required. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months of machine operating experience. At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience. Previous experience with printing or press operations is beneficial but not required. Ability to troubleshoot and perform changeovers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanically inclined with at least 6 months of relevant duties. Experience in inspection, production, packaging, general labor, machine operation, labeling, flexography, quality control, and quality checks. Verified work experience with references. Work Environment Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment with a production area that is loud and has a slight ink smell. The team consists of 15-20 people. Mandatory composite-toed or steel-toed shoes are required for safety during interviews and shifts. Open to candidates with English as a second language, and Spanish speakers are welcome for any shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, KS.
