Job Description

  • Job Title:
    Machine Shop Worker
  • Job Description
  • Your primary responsibility will be operating a plasma cutting machine, which involves uploading code and initiating the machine's operations. This role does not require physical plasma cutting.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Operate the plasma cutting machine by uploading code and starting the machine. + Ensure organized placement of materials on racks or pallets for shipment. + Adapt to working on various machinery, including A36 Cutting Table System and AKS Cutting Systems Table. + Work flexibly to support different machines as required.
  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience with machining and cutting tables. + Basic understanding of operating a plasma table. + Flexibility to work with different machines and equipment.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Prior experience in fabrication, machining, welding, and cutting is advantageous but not mandatory. + Experience in plasma cutting is beneficial. + Familiarity with blueprint reading, editing, and quality control is a plus.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $20.
00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
