Multiple Positions Available Job Order #: 154010, 154011, 154012, 154015, 154016 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is hiring Machine Operators and Manufacturing Associates for multiple temp-to-hire opportunities in Pittsburg, Kansas. We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to operate production machinery, prepare materials, inspect finished products, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Multiple positions are available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts , with starting pay of $17.00 per hour or higher , depending on experience. Previous manufacturing or machine-operating experience is preferred but not required for every position . Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Available Positions & Shifts Slitter Operator

• 1st & 3rd Shift Operate industrial slitting equipment to process materials according to production specifications. Measure materials, monitor machine performance, inspect finished products, and maintain accurate production records. Press Operator
• 2nd Shift Operate and monitor industrial press equipment to manufacture components according to work orders and specifications. Inspect finished products, maintain consistent production output, and report equipment or quality concerns. Machine Operator
• 2nd Shift Set up, operate, and monitor industrial production equipment. Adjust machine settings, prepare materials for processing, inspect finished products, and maintain established production and quality standards. Plate Mounter
• 3rd Shift Prepare, position, and mount printing plates according to job specifications.

Verify plate alignment, inspect completed setups, and support accurate and consistent printing production. Specific shift hours and assignments will be discussed during the hiring process. Required Experience & Skills Previous manufacturing, machine-operating, printing, or production experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, basic measurement skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal production instructions. Attention to detail, quality awareness, and the ability to identify equipment or material concerns are important for all available positions. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, maintaining consistent productivity, and following established safety procedures. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work the assigned shift are essential. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor industrial production equipment according to work orders and manufacturing specifications. Prepare materials for processing, make applicable machine adjustments, and maintain consistent production output. Measure and inspect materials and finished products to verify accuracy, identify defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor machinery for operational concerns and report mechanical issues, equipment problems, or production discrepancies to supervisors. For specialized positions, responsibilities may include operating press or slitting equipment, preparing printing plates, and verifying precise material positioning or alignment. Complete required production documentation, maintain clean and organized work areas, and follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist with additional manufacturing and production responsibilities as assigned. Machine Operation & Production Candidates may work with different types of industrial equipment depending on their experience and assigned position. Responsibilities may include machine setup, material preparation, production monitoring, equipment adjustments, and finished-product inspection. Employees must be able to maintain a consistent work pace while following production requirements and maintaining product quality. Quality Inspection & Measurement Inspect production materials and finished products for defects, dimensional discrepancies, and other quality concerns. Use applicable measuring tools, follow production specifications, and verify completed work meets established requirements. Strong attention to detail is essential for preventing defective products from advancing through production. Equipment Monitoring & Safety Monitor equipment throughout production, identify unusual machine operation, and report potential mechanical concerns promptly. Follow established machine safety procedures, maintain organized workstations, and wear required personal protective equipment. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Press Operator, Slitter Operator, Plate Mounter, Manufacturing Associate, or Production Worker is preferred. Experience with industrial machine setup, material measurement, printing plate preparation, production monitoring, quality inspection, or basic mechanical troubleshooting is valuable. Candidates with general manufacturing experience and a willingness to learn specialized equipment are encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable bending, reaching, lifting, handling production materials, and performing repetitive manufacturing tasks as required. Work takes place in an industrial manufacturing environment with regular exposure to production machinery, processed materials, and manufacturing equipment. All company safety procedures and required PPE must be followed.
