Job Description

Custom Tech Blends, Inc. Operator Job Summary The Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating feed manufacturing equipment, managing warehouse operations, and supporting daily feed mill activities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance policies, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This position is responsible for manufacturing feed, handling and organizing ingredients, receiving and storing materials, performing quality checks, operating equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the feed mill remains clean, safe, and efficient. The Operator will perform routine maintenance, housekeeping duties, and assist with repairs to equipment as needed. The Operator must comply with all company policies and all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and safety requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate feed manufacturing equipment and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manufacture feed according to established SOPs, quality assurance standards, and current GMPs. Dispense, measure, and weigh ingredients, including micro ingredients, according to production requirements. Operate processing equipment to properly mix and produce feed products. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials to ensure product condition, quality, and quantities match receiving documents. Properly identify, label, organize, and store ingredients and materials. Maintain organization of receiving, storage, shipping, and warehouse areas to maximize space utilization. Ensure racks, bins, and storage areas are properly maintained and do not exceed capacity. Rotate inventory and maintain accurate stock levels. Collect feed and ingredient samples according to established sampling plans. Perform quality assurance checks on ingredients and finished feed products. Complete required paperwork, production records, inventory documents, and reports accurately. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment used in feed mill and warehouse operations. Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs of equipment as needed. Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Properly secure inventory, equipment, and storage areas to prevent loss or theft. Follow all company safety procedures and operational policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance preferred. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other operational equipment. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly. Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas. Ability to operate a pallet jack with loads up to 2,000 pounds. Ability to work at heights up to 200 feet. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a feed mill and warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, machinery, varying temperatures, and outdoor conditions. Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and operating equipment. Must be able to safely work around heavy machinery and follow all safety procedures. Must maintain a commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
