We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Extrusion Operators to join their team. This is an opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Operators will run production equipment, monitor product specifications, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain production goals.

Extrusion Operator Job Summary:

Pay:

$24.76-$27.03/hr , depending on shift and experience

• 1st

Shift:

6:00 AM-2:00 PM

• 2nd

Shift:

2:00 PM-10:00 PM

• 3rd

Shift:

10:00 PM-6:00 AM

• Overtime as needed
• Set up and operate extrusion equipment and production lines
• Read production schedules, technical standards, and work instructions
• Adjust machine settings, oven temperatures, and extruder temperatures as needed
• Monitor product quality, including density, airholes, gas hole placement, and silicone application
• Perform routine inspections and make adjustments to maintain product specifications
• Troubleshoot production issues and help resolve equipment or quality concerns
• Operate a forklift to move materials
• Complete production paperwork, including scrap, attainment, and efficiency reports
• Train associates on work instructions and production procedures as needed
• Stop production when necessary to address quality concerns
• Follow all workplace safety, food safety where applicable, and quality procedures

Extrusion Operator Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing, extrusion, or machine operation experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, technical documents, and safety procedures
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, depending on production needs
• Ability to walk, reach, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
