No prior experience is required as we are willing to train the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to metal parts and ensuring they meet quality standards. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position is on our second shift with standard working hours of 5:30am-3:30pm., Monday through Thursday. This position may require additional hours (overtime) on Fridays to meet demand as needed. Essential Functions of the
Job:
Preparation of parts for powder coating. Assist in the setup and operation of powder coating equipment. Apply powder coating to metal parts using manual or automated methods. Monitor the quality of finished parts and make adjustments as necessary. Clean and maintain equipment and work area. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.
Required:
Ability to work additional hours (overtime) to meet demand as needed Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of chemical treatment and testing. Quality mindset and self-motivated
