5:00 PM-5:00 AM Machine Operator Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous CNC machine-operating experience preferred Forklift and overhead-crane experience preferred Ability to read and understand basic English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic computer and math skills Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers Ability to recognize nonstandard conditions and respond appropriately Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Strong attention to safety, quality, and production requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor automated CNC machining lines that produce aluminum-alloy billets for forging presses. Ensure equipment operates within established parameters. Monitor production processes and maintain product quality. Make machine-offset adjustments when necessary and authorized. Use forklifts and overhead cranes to handle materials. Complete required production and quality documentation. Perform equipment and production changeovers. Identify and report equipment, production, or quality concerns. Complete basic troubleshooting as trained. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all equipment-safety and workplace procedures. Perform additional production duties as assigned.
