Job Type:
Temp-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading blueprints, programming CNC machines using HAAS Control and SolidCAM , performing in-process inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and tolerances. Create CNC programs using HAAS Control and SolidCAM . Set up and operate CNC machines to produce quality parts. Monitor parts as they come off the machine and verify dimensions. Track dimensional measurements and provide results to Quality Control. Remove burrs from completed parts and perform basic finishing. Ensure proper tooling and fixturing are available for upcoming jobs. Maintain clean and organized workstations, tool cabinets, machines, and equipment. Identify production or routing issues and recommend process improvements. Work closely with team members, Quality Control, and Management to resolve issues. Learn and follow company processes, procedures, and production standards. Accurately clock in and out of jobs. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and management. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Qualifications Previous CNC machining/programming experience required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints. Experience with
HAAS CNC
controls preferred. Experience with SolidCAM/SolidCAM programming preferred. Knowledge of machining tolerances and dimensional inspection. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements. Strong organizational and communication skills. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing quality parts, understands the importance of accurate measurements and tolerances, and proactively identifies ways to improve production processes. #HP123
