Job Description

Reactor Plant Job Description Everyone starts as a packager and then will train in all other areas listed below. Rotating 12 hour shifts Packager
  • Operate a forklift
  • Clean, Maintain and Operate Packaging Equipment
  • Package material into various container types.
  • Complete packaging paperwork and label containers.
  • Monitor and operate auxiliary systems including the O.J, TFE, Capro Melt Station.
  • Record temperatures and pressures of auxiliary systems, plant compressed air, boilers, etc.
  • Assist blending operations. Reactor Operator
  • Make melts/batches per the Recipe File
  • Maintain and Operate o 5 Reactors o Reactor Batch & Mix Tanks o Pelletizers & Cooling Troughs o Con-Air Transfer Systems
  • Extrude and Pelletize Material for further processing.
  • Transfer Material to the proper system per the Plant Status System Operator
  • Charge, monitor and Operate Washer systems
  • Charge, monitor and operate Dryer Systems
  • Monitor and Operate the Bailey Computer System
  • Transfer material through systems per the Plant Status Gneuss Extruder Operator
  • Monitor and Operate the Gneuss Extruder System.
  • Collect product samples for lab testing.
