Job Description

Machine Adjusters play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency. Their responsibilities typically include setup, adjustment, repairs, monitoring and maintenance. Overall, their expertise helps ensure that production runs seamlessly and meets quality standards. This position reports to the Day Shift, which operates from Monday through Thursday from 6:00am - 4:30pm . There is occasional work needed on Fridays at discretion of site leadership, depending on production needs. How you will make an impact (responsibilities): Working closely with the production team to meet production and quality goals Ability to understand the functions of the machine, correlator, and presses Adjusting the machine periodically for quality control Understands and can lock out and tag out a machine when required Verify machines are working correctly through daily inspections Managing quality by checking the operators work, quality of bags, and checking labels for correctness Other duties as assigned What you will need to be successful (requirements): A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred Will need to read, write, and perform basic math Ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment Will train but prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to life and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Work Environment:
Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required Safety, hygiene and cleanliness is strictly enforced
