The Machine Operator plays a key role in our jewelry manufacturing process by operating and maintaining both manual and automated machinery. This position ensures consistent quality and productivity across multiple areas of production. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain various types of manual and automatic equipment used in jewelry manufacturing Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance Monitor and maintain accountability for work-in-progress (WIP) materials Crosstrain in multiple departments to support shifting production needs Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first work environment Offer feedback to improve operational efficiency and workflow Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery Proficient in basic math Ability to use measuring tools accurately Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a manufacturing or jewelry production environment Training or certification in machinery operation and maintenance Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures Experience with inventory tracking or job accountability systems Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Work Environment / Physical Demands This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production materials.
