Job Description
Job Summary:
Diaz Construction is looking for a skilled and dependable Machine Operator with a valid 2A-1C license to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders to support daily operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators and loaders safely and efficiently
- Perform pre
- and post-operation equipment inspections
- Execute digging, grading, loading, and material handling tasks
- Follow project specifications and site plans
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Work closely with team members and site supervisors to meet project goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid 2A-1C license required
- Proven experience operating excavators and loaders
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions
- Physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
