Job Description:

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a motivated Summer Intern Technician to join our Cesium Beam Tube (CBT) department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced technicians. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks in a cleanroom environment. Perform sand blasting and cleaning of parts to prepare them for assembly. Operate furnaces as part of the manufacturing process. Follow detailed work instructions and adhere to cleanroom protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with safety procedures. U.S.
