Full Job Description Overview:

FG Clean Wipes located in the Westover Industrial Park in Chicopee is a World Wide Mfg company of Cleanroom wipes. We are seeking applicants with a textile background. Experience in textile cutting/spreading environment and/or experience operating slitter rewinders.

Role Purpose:

Operate equipment safely and efficiently to produce product that meets customer specifications in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned as dictated by business needs.

Responsibilities:

Sets up and runs high volume manufacturing equipment Make major adjustments/changes to machine during production runs to maintain quality Diagnoses and repairs minor machine issues Inspects and completes quality documentation for first piece sign off Leads and directs small production teams Takes general direction from supervisor or department manager Can make decisions on own Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager/supervisor based on business need

Qualifications:

Communication skills

•Able to listen and converse with all coworkers Ability to read and interpret work orders and perform basic math Able to be on your feet for entire shift with occasional twisting, bending or lifting a weight of up to 40 lbs.
