Local company seeking out Machine Technicians all shifts. Immediate opening! Long term, full time opportunity available!

Machine Technician Duties:

The Machine Technician must be proficient in the basic operation of card conversion cell equipment. Operator will load, and operate all equipment in a card cell and make basic machine adjustments as required. Will be proficient in changing wrapper film and tear tape and in making minor adjustments to the slitting knives and in making tooling adjustments on the Ruge & Singer which includes changing chisels and anvils when required to maintain cut quality. Performs simple repairs and makes changes to set-up parameters in order to compensate for changes in material and sheet registration. Assists in set-up activities which includes but is not limited to changing cutter shafts, ME tooling and adjusting conveyors, scales, guides, rails and setting feeder and machine parameters. Maintains Production, Quality, Safety and TPM standards. Maintains accurate records, generates required production/safety/quality documents and performs good receipt activities in SAP. Performs material handling duties required to support the card conversion processes. Trains new card conversion operators as required. Must communicate effectively with team members and with Supervision/Group Leader. Requires adequate English ability to understand operating manuals, procedures, work instructions and follow operational direction.

Schedule:

1st shift: (6:30am-2:30pm) 2nd shift: (2:30pm-10:30pm) 3rd shift: (10:30pm-6:30am)

Pay:

$18-26/hr, depending on experience
